Nicole Heinen is an emerging artist noted for her “sparkling voice” and “deft hand at verbal and physical comedy” (Jay Rath The Isthmus) who is currently studying with Luretta Bybee in New Orleans. Recent credits include #1 (Transformations), Mademoiselle Silberklang (Der Schauspieldirektor), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Miss Wordsworth (Albert Herring) with UW-Madison Opera Theater, La Fée (Cendrillon) with Halifax Summer Opera Festival and Atalanta (Serse) with Eastman Opera Theater. Miss Heinen toured with Opera for the Young as Adina in their production of Elixir or Love. Recently Miss Heinen competed as one of seven finalists in the international Handel Aria Competition. A native of Wisconsin, Miss Heinen, holds a Bachelors in Music in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music and a Masters in Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. www.nicoleheinensoprano.com
