Caroga Arts Collective

Mission

The Experience renewed.

Reigniting the Caroga Lake experience through interdisciplinary and inter-arts collaborations between musicians, artists, scholars, and their communities.

About

The Caroga Arts Collective (Caroga Arts) is the newly-established non-for-profit organization which acts as an umbrella for the Caroga Lake Music Festival, and other projects (Sherman’s Center for Collaborative Arts and Education).

We seek to bring together a community of artists to collaborate across fields and genres on inter-disciplinary projects. Caroga Arts focuses on revitalizing local culture, business, and life through providing unique experiences via collaborative performances, exhibits, community outreach events and adult/youth education.

As an extension of the individuals who participate and support the Caroga Lake Music Festival, Caroga Arts strives to bring diverse art, education and experiences to Caroga year-round with a focus on community growth and international impact.

Future Home Announced for Caroga Arts

Caroga Lake Music Festival thanks Bruce and Richard Veghte for their generous donation to the Caroga Arts Collective

The 10.5 acres property formerly known as the Schine Estate or “MyHil”, was recently donated to the Caroga Arts Collective by Bruce and Richard Veghte. The acquisition of this beautiful and historically significant site will allow the Caroga Arts Collective to proceed with the first phase of fulfilling its stated mission of having a positive economic and an inspiring artistic impact on Caroga Lake and in the Southern Adirondack region. Caroga Arts’ vision for this project is to create a year-round interdisciplinary artist community which will ultimately become the future home for Caroga Lake Music Festival.
